We had a terrific show in March with perfect weather, lots of new friends and old, and some great rides.
Glenda and Spree had a very good day at the show. Glenda has been showing with us for years and Spree is her newest horse practicing to fill the shoes of The Sundansk Kid, the lovely Arabian gelding that Glenda rode to so many wins.
We had a lovely show with bright sun and not too windy and after the very cold winter we have had it was a welcome change. Lots of new folks and lots of old friends and the competion was tough! Here is Amy Harris on Shots who placed very well all day long.

The pairs class at this show was excellent with many very well matched and good working pairs.
Lots of spotty bodies here today!
Trail is always challenging and fun to watch.
It is always good to see the variety of horses who show at Susar. At this show we had minis to draft with most of the light breeds in between. An Open shows really gives you an idea of how your horse is doing against all comers.
At the end of the day Tammy Attonen ws the high point overall with Amy Harris and Kelsy Coleman reserve.
Our May 25 Show was blessed with cool cloudy weather which allowed everyone to enjoy the day fully. Our Halter classes were very full with 22 entered in Western Halter, and our showmanship classes were excellent.
Our leadline class could not have been cuter with both a lovely mini and a donkey!
Our Future riding competitors.
As usual our Walk trot western classes were very large and had to be split.
It is always a joy to see riders and their horses communicating and enjoying each other.
It is always nice to see old friends. Sydney and Rock had not been to a show lately but were here on Sunday looking nice as usual.
Kelsy and Jackson continue to do an outstanding job this year.
We had a great turnout and lovely weather for our September show. The Western Halter class had 22 entries and the judge had a tough call with so many really nice horses!
Even waiting around was ok on such a pretty day.
The western classes were large, but we split them so no one had to deal with a terribly crowded ring.
We were delighted to have some of our original exhibitors from the farm in Lewisville showing today. Here is Pam Spillman who first started showing with us in the early 80's.
Glenda and Spree sure looked pretty in purple.
The beauty of Open shows is the wonderful contrasts that we get.
Terrie Eldredge did a wonderful job with Snippy in Hard Trail.
Gypsy horses are appearing more and more at our shows. They are so steady and solid and make wonderful companions.
Helen and Silky had a really nice class in English Walk Trot.
About the only complaint was the dust! We need some rain!
We had many riders who amassed a lot of points, but at the end of the day, our Overall High Point went to Christy Hanson with Reserves going to Terrie Aldredge and Lauren Remington. We really loved seeing everyone looking so nice!
