We had a beautiful day for our first show of 2016 with a lovely turnout and lots of old and new friends. It is always so good to see folks we have not seen for awhile as well as to meet new folks.
We are seeing lots of new young riders which is so encouraging.
We had six entries in leadline which is wonderful!
Angie Williams has been doing wonderful work with her rescue horses, training them to be good citizens for beginners to learn on.
We had a bunch of great rides, but at the end of the day our overall High Point Champion was Victoria Jones. Victoria has worked very hard with her horse Darby to overcome a lot of obstacles and her hard work is now paying off.
Our High Point Winners were....in Walk trot canter, Victoria Jones Champion, Gail Williams Reserve, in Walk Trot, Carly Laidlaw Champion, Jill Cossu Reserve.
Trail is always a challenge and some of the horses did not like the flag.
Our shows are schooling shows, and sometimes young horses or beginning riders need some help in learning the ropes.
We had a wonderufl show on August 28 with lots of great horses and riders. This is Sully, a rescue horse in his horse show debut.

All of our classes were quite full but everyone did great.
We had a lot of beginners which are the backbone of horse shows. They are starting their journey towards expertise!

We were delighted to Have Liz Jones back showing with us and even more surprised to have Joanne Crockett come to present High Points. Our overall champion for the day was Liz Jones.
Our Reserve Champion Walk Trot Canter was Liz Endsley, and our Walk Trot Champion was Jinette Jarret and our Reserve was Carly Laidlaw.
Our October show was also our High Point Show and our Halloween show. The weather was perfect and we had some really nice rides.

Our longtime friend Angie Williams earned the Tiki Easy Trail Memorial Trophy for 2016 and tied with her was Carly Laidlaw. Luckily we had an extra trophy so we did not have to make them ride off for it!

Victoria Jones and Darby won the adult WTC championship and also took home the Buzznai Versatility trophy, the Frills Pattern trophy, the Tiki Hard trail trophy, and the Courage jumping trophy. In all a great day.
Our Under 12 High Point Champion was Charlee Proctor.
Our Overall Champion was Carly Laidlaw out of the Walk Trot Division. Ashley Bolding was Reserve to her. Our Adult Walk Trot Canter Champion was Victoria Jones and Liz Endsley was Reserve. Our Walk Trot Adult Champion was Jill Cossu with Jinnell Jarret being Reserve. Charlee Proctor was our Under 12 Walk Trot Canter Champion.
