We had a glorious show for our 40th Anniversary. Our classes were full and we had wonderful riders, judges and help.
We were so proud of Miss Delaney and Cotten. This was her maiden voyage riding alone and she did a fantastic job! Kudos too for other riders not running over her!
Our riders were out in force really looking good.
Finally our wonderful Glenda won an overall! She only shows western and although she does consistently beautifully, she is usually short of the mark because everyone else shows both! Today Glenda was only points behind Victoria for our WTC Overall Championship!
We were so touched by the wonderful banner and collage that many of you wonderful exhibitors made for us. We have so loved having our Susar Farm family and it means the world to us that you were so thoughtful in doing this. Thank you!
We had a most wonderful surprise in Pairs! Our dear friends Angie and cookie, and later Jamie gave us a lovely pairs ride!
Our overall high point winner today was Victoria Jones with Glenda Cline Reserve overall.
Our Walk Trot Champion today was Jill Cossu and her wonderful mare Cash. Reserve to Jill was Natalie Delzer.
At this show we offered high point for folks who have been showing with us more than 20 years and more than 10 years. Todays winners for the 20 year group were a tie, Angie Williams and Rachel Stephens. Glenda Cline was our 10 year high point winner for today!
March can be a tempestuous month but we had really pretty weather for our March show. Here Angie and Moriah are discussing their halter philosophy.
The Western Halter classes were really outstandingly good.
Delaney and Cotton provided our cuteness overload. They are growing up, out of leadline and in to Walk Halt! Wait till you see the future....Delaney has twin baby sisters!
Good to see some new young faces.
We had a wonderful bunch of exhibitors. At the end of the day, Jill Cossu and her beautiful Cash were Overall High Point winners out of the WT division and Natalie Delzer and Thyme were reserve WT. The WTC Champion was Liz Jones and Chance, and the WTC Reserve was Lilli Delaney, who is the not the photo because she left before the High Points were given out.
We had some nice young riders in English.
Our September 2017 show was sunny and bright with many of our traditional competitors and some new ones as well. It is always so nice to see the folks progressing and horses and riders who started as beginners maturing into solid competitors.
Western Halter is always a large class and it is made the merrier with the addition of different colors, different breeds, and alas, different ear lengths!
Leadline is the future and we love to see new leadliners at each show.
Walk Trot Western Classes are always large and filled with exuberant folks.
Trail classes are always fun to watch and challenging to ride. We had some really nice rides on Sunday.
Trail classes challenge the imagination and the training and everyone benefits.
Love those long ears!
English classes were not very large but we made up in quality for the lack in quantity.
At the end of the day our overall champion our of the Walk Trot Division was Jill Cossu on Cash and Our Walk Trot Canter Champion was Gail William on Hank. Our Reserve Walk Trot Champion Was Jack Travis and our Reserve Walk Trot Canter Champion was Gaynel Burch. A good show overall.

Costume classes are so much fun. Never seen this one before! A rocking horse!
The Sundansk Kid Memorial trophy was donated by Glenda Cline in memory of her beloved Kid, and then this year she won it back. We had decided to retire all Memorial Trophies this year due to my awaiting a lung transplant and not sure what next year would hold.
Jill Cossu was our Overall High Point Champion for 2017 and she was also the winner of the TIki Easy Trail trophy and the Snippy Bareback trophy. We look forward to seeing a cantering Jill in 2918!
Our Frills Pattern Ride Memorial trophy was retired to Angie and Karen who donated it, but Andrea Spillman won it this year and took home a replacement trophy.
